Q: If I pay with a credit card, what will appear on my bill?
A: Your payment will be listed on your bill as CRITICALCON or CRITICALCONSULTANTS.

Q: What are your payment options?
A: Our preferred method of payment is via credit card: we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept eChecks, bank transfers, and PayPal Payments.

Q: Do you write essays or assignments for students?
A: No. Critical Consultants is NOT a writing service and is 100% committed to academic honesty. You – as a student – should understand that submitting work that you claim is your own, when it in fact written by someone else, is plagiarism. We warn all students that plagiarism is a serious offense and can result in you receiving a failing grade or being expelled from your school or university. The content of your essay is your responsibility. We assume that the assignments we edit or proofread do not include unattributed sources. Critical Consultants takes no responsibility/liability for detecting or reporting plagiarized material.

Q: Do I have to pay before you start editing my assignment/essay?
A: Yes. However, for clients who have a long-standing relationship with Critical Consultants, we may allow you to pay after the editing process has been completed.

Q: How do I calculate the word count of my assignment?
A: For Microsoft Word 2003, click on the Tools menu, and then click on Word Count. The word count is the number next to “Words’. For Microsoft Word 2007, follow the same process as outlined above, except first click on Review instead of tools. Please be advised that our prices are based on the word count of the text alone and NOT the footnotes and endnotes. As such, when determining the word count of your document, please UNCHECK the footnotes and endnotes box.

Q: Do you guarantee your services?
A: Yes. Any errors that should have been caught, but were not, will be revised at no additional cost. We are also more than glad to clarify any part of our work for no additional cost.

Q: Can I meet with an editor in person for help?
A: Yes. Critical Consultants provides both in-person and over-the-phone essay tutoring services for those that want to learn how to write an essay altogether or need help in deconstructing their essay topics. Please refer to our essay tutoring service for more details.

Q: Do you provide feedback on my assignment?
A: Yes. Aside from editing your assignment, we will provide you with written feedback to explain the changes that were made on your assignment and any other feedback that we feel will help you to improve your work for next time.
